# First Audit Quick Start

After activation, the fastest way to get value from SEO Page Auditor is to run a real audit immediately. The starting logic is simple: load a page, define the content scope, and begin analyzing.

### **Step-by-Step Workflow:**

1. **Load a Page:** Open a live page via URL, or use the File menu to import a local HTML, TXT, or DOCX file.
2. **Choose Audit Scope:** Select the right Audit Scope for your task (Full, Main, or Navigation). *Tip: If you are optimizing an article's specific text, use "Main" to prevent menus and footers from distorting your metrics.*
3. **Select View Mode:** Switch to the View Mode that matches the way you want to inspect the page (WYSIWYG, HTML, or TEXT).
4. **Review Metrics:** Review the initial metrics, keywords, and N-Grams.
5. **Save Context:** Save your session once you have a useful baseline so your progress remains fully restorable.

Once your first page is loaded successfully, you can move into deeper analysis such as N-Grams Stats, Word Stats, the Semantic Dashboard, and semantic issue diagnostics.
