The Challenge #
A content manager adds target keywords to a page, but rankings remain stagnant. Often, the reason is that keywords are buried deep within the text or hidden in the footer, where search engines assign them minimal weight.
What is Word Stats? #
It is your Correlational SEO engine based on Information Retrieval (IR) algorithms. It moves beyond simple keyword density, evaluating terms based on their DOM weight, Visual Prominence, and Proximity, giving you the correlational data needed to compete in tough SERPs. The platform evaluates keywords not as flat text, but through the visual matrix of a mobile screen (Viewport Height).
Geometric Zoning #
All content is strictly bound to one of 5 geometric zones:
- Above the Fold (ATF): The first screen before scrolling. Keywords here receive the maximum SEO bonus.
- Main Content: The core body of the article. Standard weight.
- Side/Nav: Sidebars and menus. Keyword weight is artificially reduced.
- Deep Content: Excessively deep scroll (below 3 screens). Keyword influence decays.
- Footer: The bottom of the site. Severe penalty applied.
Visual Control #
The platform captures a full-page screenshot and overlays a semi-transparent zone map, allowing you to clearly see where the strongest parts of your content reside. You know exactly whether your keyword is located on the first screen or hidden deep in the footer.
